India’s largest multinational corporation, working in flexible packaging materials and solution collaborated with Fiinovation in the year 2017 to adopt a village in Malanpur, Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh and carried out an intervention on Natural Resource Conservation and Optimization of the Ecosystem Services with a state-level organization. The project led to capacity building of farmers to adopt in-situ and ex-situ measures of rainwater harvesting to meet their irrigation needs as well as increase groundwater recharge capacity. Apart from this, each of the 300 beneficiaries were  provided with a saplings of fruit bearing trees and also given the responsibility of maintaining and looking after the same. Furthermore,the community members including the school children were sensitised on natural resource conservation leading to environmental sustainability.
