A total of 120 meritorious girl children, coming from economically weaker families were selected from and around the location of Mundra (Kachchh District, Gujarat). The concept of Pragati has a two-pronged approach:

• Promoting academic excellence, fostering personal growth, and contributing to social development
• The proposed intervention will address the educational disparities faced by underprivileged girls and promote gender equality in education

The programme looks towards collaboration with local stakeholders by engagement of educational institutes and community organizations to ensure long term sustainability of the program. This programme has been successfully running since the past 2 years and is in its last year of implementation.

Role of IPMS/CCSE

As the implementing partner, CCSE (Center for CSR & Sustainability Excellence) is responsible for regular functioning, monitoring of the project components along with working closely with the field partner to meet project goals and objectives. CCSE has been able to actively contribute towards positive decision-making, mitigation of issues and strategic implementation of day-to-day activities.
