An Indian multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra collaborated with Fiinovation to assess the impact of the Mobile Health Van CSR project at Mohali and Toansa in Punjab, Ponta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh and Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. The impact of the mobile medical van was assessed for more than 340 households with close to 1800 members. It was evident from the study that the mobile vans had improved the access to health care facilities in the above-mentioned geographies along with the reduction in the household health care expenditures. The intervention had been successful to a great extent in reorienting the health seeking behaviour of the targeted communities.
