The intervention was a strategic partnership between Fiinovation and  a leading manufacturer of Calcined Petroleum Coke, for a social intervention that addressed environmental and health conditions in Nayapara Parsada & Parsada Awas villages, situated in Belha tehsil of Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh. 

As part of the intervention, around 700 households from both villages have been sensitised about the importance of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) through awareness drives. These drives concentrated on the importance of hygiene and health benefits of using clean water. As a relief to inaccessibility to water, a 6000-litre cement water tank in each village has been constructed. Two changing units have been newly constructed in both villages at the common bathing area to ensure the privacy of women. Additionally, a staircase has been newly paved in the Nayapara Parsada village for safe access to the local pond. Several awareness programmes on environmental issues and tree plantation drives were organised in both villages. These drives aimed at mobilizing the local communities towards preserving and safeguarding the environment.
