The intervention was a strategic partnership between Fiinovation and a leading manufacturer of Calcined Petroleum Coke, for a social intervention that addressed environmental and health conditions of people living in Udayabata ward #4 in Paradip, Odisha. The project aimed to achieve sustainable drinking water solution for the households and enhancing the living standards of the community through awareness and infrastructure enhancements in the arena.

Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) awareness campaigns were organised in the local schools of the ward during the course of the project. The training sessions in the school were about faeces/defecation effects on the environment and the risk of exposure to pathogens and hazardous substances that could affect the health of students, school staff members, and communities. Free health check-up were also organised with the aim educate the community addressing issues of personal health care, vaccination, hygiene, and illness prevention. As part of the intervention a RO plant of 3000 LPH and storage tank of 15000 litre capacity was constructed for the ease of the local people.
