Fiinovation partnered with a rubber sector Skill Council which has been set up under the aegis of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to draft a skill gap analysis for the natural rubber growers in different districts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The report has helped the Sector Skill Council to identify the gaps in the required skills among the general workers, latex harvest technicians, budders, supervisors and office assistants working in the small and large growing units and in the nurseries. The report covers the skill gaps amongst workers in the rubber sector in the districts of Ernakulam, Idukki, Kannur, Kasargod, Kollam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Wayanad and Kanyakumari.
