Fiinovation, in collaboration with AIPL, is implementing a WaSH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) project in a government school in Gurugram, Haryana. The initiative aims to promote better health and hygiene practices among children from underserved communities by improving access to clean water, sanitation, and preventive healthcare services.

About the Project

This intervention focuses on fostering a healthier learning environment and addressing common health challenges faced by schoolchildren. The key objectives include:

• Improving WaSH Infrastructure – Upgrading water and sanitation facilities to ensure access to safe drinking water and hygienic toilets.

• Promoting Hygiene Awareness – Conducting sessions and activities to encourage handwashing, menstrual hygiene management, and other healthy habits.

• Strengthening Preventive Healthcare – Providing preventive and promotive healthcare services to enhance overall student well-being.

Project Duration

The project will be implemented over a period of nine months, focusing on sustainable infrastructure and long-term behavioral change among students.

Role of CCSE

As the implementing partner, WeCare Foundation, under the tripartite engagement with AIPL and IPMS, is responsible for:

• Executing WaSH infrastructure upgrades within the school premises.

• Organizing hygiene education and awareness sessions for students and staff.

• Monitoring health indicators and ensuring continued impact through periodic assessments.
